We are delighted to invite you to Podsreda Castle for the “Culture Celebration Day” on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 (from 10 am to 4 pm). We will open our castle doors wide to all visitors to honor the birthday of Slovenia’s greatest poet, France Prešeren.

“Culture Celebration Day” is a nationwide event in Slovenia that marks the birth of France Prešeren, a symbol of Slovenian culture and poetry. On this special day, cultural institutions across the country offer free admission, allowing everyone to experience the richness of our cultural heritage and creativity.

At Podsreda Castle, we have prepared a unique program for the day, running from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, which includes:
– Free admission for all visitors.
– Explore the castle’s beautiful spaces, rich exhibitions, and unique collections.
– A visit to the Kozjansko Park Visitor Center and the Biosphere Reserve of Kozjansko and Obsotelje.
– Shopping for unique items in our castle gift shop.
