With this, our castle not only preserves its remarkable cultural value but also transforms into a contemporary destination for discerning visitors, business guests, and seekers of unique experiences.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"707\" data-end=\"1056\">The event was attended by several distinguished guests, including <strong data-start=\"773\" data-end=\"812\">Minister of Culture Dr. Asta Vre\u010dko<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"814\" data-end=\"832\">Dubravka Kalin<\/strong> from the Ministry of Economy, Tourism and Sport, and <strong data-start=\"886\" data-end=\"939\">Mayor of the Municipality of Kozje, Milena Krajnc<\/strong>, who emphasized the importance of connecting heritage, nature, and tourism for the future development of the region.<\/p>\n<hr class=\"\" data-start=\"1193\" data-end=\"1196\" \/>\n<h3 data-start=\"1063\" data-end=\"1096\">Highlights of the Renovation<\/h3>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1098\" data-end=\"1310\">As part of the project, co-financed by the <strong data-start=\"1141\" data-end=\"1199\">EU Recovery and Resilience Facility (NextGenerationEU)<\/strong> under the <strong data-start=\"1210\" data-end=\"1258\">National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP)<\/strong> of Slovenia, the following upgrades were completed:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"1312\" data-end=\"1854\"><strong data-start=\"1315\" data-end=\"1355\">Restoration of the Romanesque chapel<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1312\" data-end=\"1854\"><strong data-start=\"1362\" data-end=\"1391\">Three boutique apartments<\/strong> in the renovated outbuilding,<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1312\" data-end=\"1854\"><strong data-start=\"1427\" data-end=\"1458\">Two modern conference halls<\/strong> for business events and meetings,<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1312\" data-end=\"1854\"><strong data-start=\"1498\" data-end=\"1517\">A wellness area<\/strong> with views of the castle park,<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1312\" data-end=\"1854\"><strong data-start=\"1554\" data-end=\"1580\">A charming castle caf\u00e9<\/strong> located in the restored east tower,<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1312\" data-end=\"1854\"><strong data-start=\"1622\" data-end=\"1677\">A new immersive experience using Mixed Reality (MR)<\/strong> technology \u2013 bringing the castle\u2019s stories to life in an interactive and engaging way,<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1312\" data-end=\"1854\"><strong data-start=\"1770\" data-end=\"1825\">Restoration of the castle\u2019s northern defensive wall<\/strong> for preservation and safety.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr class=\"\" data-start=\"2362\" data-end=\"2365\" \/>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_gallery type=&#8221;image_grid&#8221; images=&#8221;38193,38247,38244,38229,38214,38211,38208,38202&#8243; css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1743241858160{margin-top: 50px !important;margin-right: 50px !important;margin-bottom: 50px !important;margin-left: 50px !important;border-top-width: 0px !important;border-right-width: 0px !important;border-bottom-width: 0px !important;border-left-width: 0px !important;padding-top: 0px !important;padding-right: 0px !important;padding-bottom: 0px !important;padding-left: 0px !important;}&#8221;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1861\" data-end=\"1891\">Voices from the Opening<\/h3>\n<blockquote data-start=\"1893\" data-end=\"2170\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1895\" data-end=\"2170\"><strong data-start=\"1895\" data-end=\"1942\">Milena Krajnc, Mayor of Kozje Municipality:<\/strong><br data-start=\"1942\" data-end=\"1945\" \/>\u201cThese new additions open a fresh chapter for Podsreda Castle.
