Saturday, 20 and Sunday, On 21 June 2020, Podsreda Castle was a very lively event.

On the first evening of summer, Saturday 21. On June 6, we joined the celebration of the SUMMER MUSEUM NIGHT.

From 18. The gates of Podsreda Castle were first opened wide to visitors, who were able to visit the castle premises and the numerous permanent and temporary exhibitions free of charge until 21.30.

At the same time, an OPEN HOUSE EVENING OF THE ROOMS AND APARTMENTS of Podsreda Castle, the new addition to our castle, took place. The newly refurbished accommodation in the former lower outbuildings of the castle is on display.

At 21:30, as part of the Life Naturaviva project, we held a SUMMER CINEMA UNDER THE GREAT STARS. Unfortunately, due to the rainy weather, we had to move the outdoor cinema to the Renaissance Hall of the castle. We screened the Swiss documentary “More than honey”. We were delighted with the good turnout, with 47 people attending the screening.

After the film, at 23:30 in the castle atrium, we had the official closing of the Summer Museum Night of the Castles of Posavje. The Jakob 2020 Award, which the Castles of Posavje received for “Innovative tourist facilities and programmes in castles and manor houses”, was also on display throughout the evening.

On Sunday, 21. 14 June 2020 between 14. and 17. The doors of the rooms and apartments of Podsreda Castle were once again opened to the public. Visitors can see the three castle apartments and three rooms, which sleep 15 people. 25. On June 6, we will “hand over” the castle accommodation and welcome the first guests to enjoy the castle fairytale.
