The comic opera La finta giardiniera (“The Pretend Garden-Girl”) is full of amusing plots and is one of W. A. Mozart’s most charming and inventive creations. The performance, which is performed in Italian with Slovenian subtitles, lasts one hour and 45 minutes and has a 10-minute intermission.

The performance is under the artistic direction of renowned soprano and singing teacher Alenka Slokar Bajc. The directing was done by the young director Matej Prevc, while the choreography was contributed by the renowned Slovenian ballerina, ballet teacher and choreographer Claudia Sovre, and the arrangement for the string quartet was done by the violinist Đorđet Berak.
