Thursday, 9. On July 2020, we held the annual cinema under the stars at Podsreda Castle, which has been held for the 3rd time. for the first year in a row, we are running the Life Naturaviva project, where we make films with a nature conservation theme.

This time we are screening the winning film of the Ljubljana International Film Festival LIFFe 2018: Woman at War/Kona fer i strid (Woman at War/Kona fer i strid).

The event was held in the spacious outdoor courtyard of the castle, where we were able to ensure a safety distance between spectators. We have also obtained positive approval for the event from the NIJZ.

Despite the slightly chilly evening, over 70 visitors gathered and were delighted by the beautiful ambience and the film. This time we had the company of the clear castle sky, sprinkled with stars, as well as many bats flying around the venue.

After the cinema, we also held a NIGHT MONTHLY MONTHLY MONTHLY MONITORING at a location near the castle.
At the light pyramid, under the guidance of our biologist Dušan Klenovšek, visitors learned about the diverse world of nocturnal butterflies as well as other insects of our protected area.
