Opening times of Podsreda Castle

Dear friends of Podsreda Castle, our ancient pearl in the heart of the Kozjansko Regional Park invites you to check out our castle offer, explore our website and events calendar and plan your next visit to our destination.

Regular Opening Hours: A Gateway to the Past!

Podsreda Castle is open from TUESDAY TO SUNDAY, 10 AM to 5 PM.
We are closed on MONDAYS, as even the castle deserves a rest.

You can visit the castle premises, the many interesting exhibitions and collections, the Visitor Centre of the Kozjansko Regional Park & the Kozjansko and Obsotelje Biosphere Area, and the castle shop.

In addition to the sightseeing, you can also go on a family adventure, the TREASURE HUNT AT PODSREDA CASTLE (more info).

The Podsreda Castle Cafe remains CLOSED until further notice due to renovation works.

As part of the efforts to enhance visitor experiences and preserve cultural heritage, extensive renovation activities are being carried out at Podsreda Castle.

We thank all visitors for their understanding and patience and invite you to follow our announcements for further information on the cafe’s reopening.

In the meantime, Podsreda Castle continues to invite exploration of its historical treasures and the beautiful nature surrounding this impressive location.

Admission fee

ADULTS: 7,00 €/person
ADULTS GROUP (10 or more persons): 5,00 €/person
ADULTS GUIDED GROUP (10 persons and more): 6,00 €/person (advance reservation)

YOUTH, STUDENTS: 4,00 €/person
YOUTH GROUP (10 or more persons): 3,00 €/person
YOUTH GUIDED GROUP (10 persons and more): 4,00 €/person ( advance reservation).

SENIORS: 5,00 €/person

FAMILY (2 adults + 2 children): 18,00 €
FAMILY (2 adults + 1 child): 15,00 €

The entrance fee for individuals and families includes an audio guide. Groups can have a guided tour by prior reservation.

Visitors to the Podsreda Castle can also explore the castle premises independently, with the help of an audio guide available in Slovenian, English, German, Italian, and Russian, and find out why Podsreda Castle remains one of the most renowned and well-preserved castles in our country.
We offer visitors guided tours of the castle and its exhibitions throughout the year, giving them the opportunity to get to know and feel our castle’s history, which still lives a full and rich life today. Guided tours of the castle are available by prior reservation (+386 41 419 996).⠀
