Photography Exhibition by Andrej Grilc: “WORLD PORTRAITS” at Podsreda Castle

On Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at 7 PM, we warmly invite you to the opening of the photography exhibition by award-winning photographer Andrej Grilc at Podsreda Castle.

The exhibition, titled “World Portraits,” will be showcased in the castle’s attic and feature Grilc’s extraordinary collection of photographs. As one of the most sought-after young music photographers, Grilc is equally passionate about street photography. His project “80 Portraits Around the World” takes him to distant places where he captures the essence of inspiring individuals deeply rooted in their cultures.

His photographs tell the stories of people whose faces reflect the past and traditions gradually fading in our fast-changing world. Through his art, Grilc strives to preserve these faces for future generations. One of his series, “Portraits of Varanasi,” was awarded at the prestigious Natural Density Photography Awards.
